I was born into a musical family in Michigan and started playing music professionally at age 13 on our Bundy Mountain Jamboree stage, radio and TV shows. I first came to Florida to attend college and learned to love the great weather we enjoy here. Subsequently I served in the U.S. Air Force in Viet Nam as a Russian linguist and graduated from Syracuse University in 1975 with a degree in Russian language. After living in Philadelphia and Boston, I came back to Florida in 1976 as District Manager, Sales and Services, for Eastern Airlines at Daytona Beach and watched with interest as Palm Coast began to be developed. Today Palm Coast is a great Florida city of 65,000 residents with lots to do and see in the area to go along with our great beaches and warm, sunny and breezy weather. We have numerous restaurants, shopping malls, grocery stores and most of the service clubs such as Rotary International where I am able to serve my community. Yet, because of all the palm and pine trees and the way our “villages” are laid out, we enjoy a small-town atmosphere. My wife and I consider ourselves lucky to live here. Our 9 children and 19 grandchildren also consider themselves lucky, despite living up north, because they can come visit us year round to swim in the ocean and bask in our famous Florida sunshine.
My goal as a Realtor at Palm Coast Real Estate is to help you find the home of your dreams and, should you find it, to help you acquire it. If you are looking for a quiet, warm place to retire where the costs of coastal home acquisition, taxes and insurance are moderate as compared to the rest of our state, you will be impressed with what you find in this area. If you are a young family looking to raise your children in Florida, you will find that our Flagler County schools are among the very best in the state and that our kids enjoy great outdoor activities year round. Both summer and winter temperatures are moderated by our Atlantic Ocean sea breeze.
I look forward to showing you around our town. I know that you will be impressed. In the meantime, please let me know how I can help you get started on your journey to paradise.
